Does the agent need inbound network access to my SAP hosts?

No. The agent is outbound-only — it polls Farrenio over HTTPS for its config and pushes metrics the same way. No new firewall rules, no exposed ports on your SAP boxes.

Can my service desk see alerts without touching production?

Yes. The service_desk role is read-only on alerts and incidents — no SAP transaction access, no config changes, no token reveal. Granular 69-permission RBAC means you can carve out exactly what each team sees.

How long does a proof of concept take?

A 30-minute call to scope. We typically have one production SID streaming live metrics within an hour of agent install — the rest of the landscape follows as fast as you can roll out the package.

Who we are

Farrenio is an enterprise SAP monitoring platform and an AWS Reseller, operated by Farrenio, registered in Tamasi, Ilfov, 077068, Romania. You can reach the privacy team at contact@farrenio.com or +40 750 219 141.

For the purpose of this notice, Farrenio is the data controller of the personal data described below.

What data we collect

Account data — name, work email, role, company, IP address, login timestamps. Required to operate the platform.
Contact form submissions — name, email, phone, country, company, relationship, message. Used only to respond to your request.
Authentication logs — login attempts, IP, user agent, MFA outcome. Retained for security audit (365 days).
Operational telemetry — pages viewed, features used, performance counters. Only collected if you have opted in via the cookie banner ("Analytics").
SAP collector data — system metrics gathered by the agent on your hosts. Tenant-scoped, never co-mingled across customers.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers. We do not embed third-party trackers (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no Hotjar).

Why we process your data

Contract — to operate the platform you signed up for.
Legitimate interest — securing the platform (audit logs, abuse detection, rate limiting) and improving the product (anonymised usage stats, with consent).
Consent — optional cookies (functional, analytics, marketing) only if you turn them on.
Legal obligation — invoicing and tax record-keeping where applicable.

Cookies

We use four cookie categories:

Strictly necessary — session, CSRF, MFA. Cannot be disabled.
Functional — remembers your theme, language, recent systems.
Analytics — aggregated usage stats, no third-party tracking.
Marketing — attributes demo-request conversions.

You can change your choices at any time from the cookie icon at the bottom-left of any page, or via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

How long we keep your data

Account data — for the lifetime of your account, plus 12 months for audit reasons.
Security / authentication logs — 365 days.
Operational telemetry — 180 days, aggregated thereafter.
Contact form submissions — 24 months from last contact.
Backups — rolling 30-day window, then permanently overwritten.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct anything that's wrong
Ask us to delete your account and personal data ("right to be forgotten")
Export your data in a portable format
Object to processing or withdraw consent for optional cookies
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Romania, ANSPDCP)

International transfers

Production data is stored in the EU. We use Amazon Web Services regions inside the EU for compute and storage. If a transfer outside the EEA ever becomes necessary, it will only happen under EU Standard Contractual Clauses with appropriate safeguards.

Security

Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), encryption of sensitive credentials at rest (Fernet), MFA-required logins for privileged accounts, 69-permission RBAC, immutable audit trail with 365-day retention, automatic blocking on credential-stuffing patterns, and a coordinated vulnerability disclosure process.
